In the Lovecraft text, Cthulhu has been referred to as having the body of a dragon. So this interpretation actually doesn't stray too far from the original literature.
Guy Davis influence?
not the usual one--- at last!
Finally some fresh interpretation well done
Neat version of the critter, I like that slimy texture.
Awesome take on the creature!
Muito bom! Agora jŠ sei coomo imaginar o CthulhuMuito
cool! reminds me of snake standing on 4 legs
Freaking awesome take on him!
Yay! This is great! I've seen so many drawings of Cthulhu creatures, yet none was really convincing (except very simple ones made just for fun, like Hello Cthulhu, young Lovecraft or Munchkin Cthulhu, but, of course, they don't mean to be realistic) Yours are even better than the ones in BPRD last run. They look positively cthonian!
I greatly prefer this to the most common interpretation. It's much more horrific.
wow, these are amazing, love the style!
great looking design here!
Sweet! For some reason it reminds me of those hellboy huge demon thingies (whatever is their names). Love how it's rendered, also, specially by your diversity of styles!
Urgh. Slimy mother lover. Cracking design though.
I really like your interpretation. Love the avatar too.
That's really neat. It gives the impression of an unstoppable force, rather than a god-like presence
Not bad not bad, a good variation. Much better than many of the norm I've seen. Still hard to make the unimaginable horrors imaginable. I'm hoping the mountains of madness movie can deliver too.
