are the colors here done Directly over the pencils?? i.e no inked stage I'm really loving the no holding lines approach but cant for the life of me figure out how it's done

thanks so much I had been playing around with changing the blending mode on the lines to an overlay and trying to blend them but hadn't had too much success with it yet
